Our Work
We the MPS (Missionaries our Lady of Perpetual Congregation) are working for the welfare of women and children among the Jharkhand Tribal communities. We have started our mission in 2015 in the place called Banabira located in the district of Simdega. Initially we were working in the school and running a tailoring class for the women. Since were bound in the school timetable we couldn’t do much for the children. So, we have decided to start this evening tuition.in which we train the few students who are very smart and keen in studies and those children will teach their village children. Weekly plans will be provided for them. It is a kind of peer group teaching. This was started in September 2021. Now are focusing in 7 villages and catering to 200 students from all the level from K.G to class 10th we are mainly teaching them English and Math.
